HA NOI — Two Spanish puppeteers will perform at the Viet Nam Puppetry Theatre in Ha Noi next Monday in celebration of the 35th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Viet Nam and Spain.

Melena Miranda Barcelo and Martin Ruiz Fernadez from the Madrid-based puppetry troupe Tiretes con Cabeza will perform the piece Love of Worm and Butterfly.

The 45-minute show with music and light accompaniment is expected to bring audiences into the romantic world of the worm and butterfly. The piece is an adaptation from writer Gabriel Castilla's novel Telon de Cielo (Sky's Curtain).

The puppetry troupe, set up in 2000, has toured throughout several countries. After Ha Noi, the artists will perform in Yen Bai next Wednesday and Lao Cai next Friday.

The piece will be performed next Monday at 8pm, at the Viet Nam Puppetry Theatre, 361 Truong Chinh Road, Ha Noi.-VNS
