HA NOI(VNS)— Sri Lanka artists will perform their traditional dance to Vietnamese audience in Ha Noi and the northern province of Quang Ninh.
Six dances featuring traditional spirit of the Sri Lanka include Pooja, Naga Raksha, Nalagana Vannama, Thelme, Leekeli, and Gini Sisila.
Pooja is a worship dance performed to invoke the blessing and Naga Raksha is a national dance depicting cobra monster. The dance Thelme is a vibrant expression of the pure classical and rhythmical dance from the low country.
The 14-member troupe will arrive in Ha Noi today. The free entrance show will be held at 8pm on Sunday at the Ha Noi Opera House and the Cong Nhan (Worker) Cultural House in Ha Tu coal mine, Quang Ninh Province on Monday.-VNS
