HA NOI (VNS) — Viet Nam's national taekwondo fighter Nguyen Van Son beat 20 contestants from across the world to win the Mister Global title in Bangkok, Thailand, on Saturday.
Born in 1993 in the central province of Thanh Hoa, the 1.93m-tall Son also won the maximum online votes at the contest.
He walked away with a cash prize of US$25,000. The runners-up titles went to contestants from Venezuela, Thailand, Brazil and France.
Last year, Vietnamese fighter and model Huu Vi won the runner-up title. — VNS
