The German Business Association in Viet Nam and Windsor Plaza Hotel will
host the annual Oktoberfest Vietnam highlighting German cuisine and
culture at the hotel on October 8-10 as well as October 14-17.
German Consul General in HCM City Hans-Dieter Stell hit the barrel of
beer amid cheering sounds at Windsor Plaza Hotel last night to begin a
seven-day Oktoberfest, which is the largest of it kind in Southeast
Asia.
The Windsor Property Management Group Corporation, which runs the
Windsor Plaza Hotel and several restaurants in HCM City, has achieved a
coup by getting star Chinese-American chef and food writer Martin Yan to
the menu at its Kissho Restaurant.
Famed TV chef Martin Yan impressed audiences recently with his
demonstrations of traditional Chinese cooking at Ngan Dinh Restaurant
last Saturday and at Cafe Central An Dong at the Windsor Plaza Hotel on
Sunday.
Featuring an all-new format with a gourmet European
buffet and free-flow premium drinks, the sixth annual European Food
Festival will be back in HCM City on September 8 at HCM City''s Windsor
Plaza Hotel.
