Local people and workers accidentally discovered a jar containing
ancient coins at Nam Cat Reservoir construction site in the northern Bac
Kan Province.
Traces of prehistoric man have been found at the Na Mo Cave in the northern province of Bac Kan. Members
of the Viet Nam Archaeological Institute and the Bac Kan Museum have
been excavating the area for possible prehistoric remains since early
June.
