Viet Nam''s top chess players Le Quang Liem and Nguyen Ngoc Truong Son
will compete in the 2014 FIDE World Rapid and Blitz Chess Championships
in Dubai between June 15-21.
Teammates Nguyen Ngoc Truong Son and Vo Thanh Ninh
shared the top place after three rounds in the first day of the National
Rapid and Blitz Chess Championships in HCM City.
Viet Nam''s top player Le Quang Liem finished seventh
out of 16 competitors in the final round of the blitz event at the
World Rapid and Blitz Chess Championships in Kazakhstan which wrapped up
on Tuesday.
Top Vietnamese chess player Le Quang Liem has become
one of three players to reach the blitz event finals at the World Rapid
and Blitz Chess Championships in Astana, Kazakhstan held from July
6-10.
