A week-long festival of traditional musical instruments is being held
from today until next Monday in Da Lat City in the Tay Nguyen (Central
Highlands) Province of Lam Dong.
A two-day music festival kicks off today in the Central Highlands
province of Gia Lai. The festival is being held to develop the music
industry in the Central Highlands and the southern provinces.
Eighteen elephants and mahouts will participate in a
race in Krong Na Commune in Buon Don District in the Central Highlands
Province of Dac Lac on March 12 and 13.
The Central Highlands province of Lam Dong has approved a
VND38.1-billion (US$1.8 million) project to preserve and upgrade the
province''s archaeological site of Cat Tien.
The first ever Viet Nam – ASEAN UNESCO Heritage
festival held in Viet Nam is expected to take place at the Tay Nguyen
(Central Highlands) province of Lam Dong at the end of the year.
