The ancient city of Hoi An has introduced new craft
products made from Firmiana colorata, commonly known as the Chinese
parasol tree, a big tree in Cham Island.
The central city of Hoi An will provide free ticket for tourists
visiting the ancient town tomorrow, Friday, on the occasion of the
Heritage Day and the 16th anniversary of Hoi An''s recognition as a world
heritage city by UNESCO.
Tourists visiting the old city of Hoi An in central province of Quang
Nam rarely miss a chance to explore the Cham Islands with their
terrestrial and aquatic marine ecosystem.
It is impossible to leave footprints on sand dunes,
as the wind quickly blows them away. Standing atop the Nam Cuong sand

A group of folk musicians from Bahnar and Jrai
ethnic groups from Gia Lai Province in the Central Highlands will
perform at festivals in Finland from now to July 9.
An exhibition featuring 117 photos taken by 14
members by the Viet Nam Association of Photographic Artists are on
display at the Museum of Cham Sculpture in Da Nang.

popular with environment-loving tourists. Visitors are greeted with a
smile and offered an inside look at rural Viet Nam among the green paddy
fields and vast forests of nipa palms.
Bau Truc and My Nghiep villages, two famous Cham
craft villages in the central province of Ninh Thuan, will be developed
into major tourism sites starting later this year.
The historic central city of Hoi An plans to restore
80 ancient wells, most of them locate on the north bank of the De Vong
River near the Thanh Ha pottery village.
