Several activities will be held to celebrate the 2,000th birthday of the
national heroines Hai Ba Trung (literally "the two ladies Trung"), who
led the first resistance movement against Chinese occupation in the
first century.

Ha Noi''s People''s Committee has closed the new art and entertainment
centre Zone 9, located at 9A Tran Thanh Tong Street, Hai Ba Trung
District, said an official.
Foreign tourists gathered recently at the Sai Gon
