A photo collection featuring a festival in the northern province of
Vinh Phuc by veteran photographer Pham Anh received the Special Award
for Photo Collection – the highest prize of the Heritage Photo Awards.
The first prize for the single photo category in the Vietnam Heritage Photo Awards 2015 went to Dem hoa dang (Lantern Night at the Japanese-Covered Bridge) by Le Trong Khang.
Some 100 photos of Viet Nam and its people are on
display at the third Heritage Photo Exhibition that opened on Wednesday
at the City Museum in Can Tho.
Bien Va Con Nguoi (Fishing in Hue) by Nguyen Xuan Huu Tam won the
special prize in the single photograph category of the Vietnam Heritage
Photo Awards 2013.
The Vietnam Heritage Photo Awards, open to both
Vietnamese and foreigners 18 years and older, has been launched to
honour the country''s cultural heritage.
