Composer Phan Huynh Dieu, who was known as the
"Golden bird of Vietnamese music," died on Monday but his influential
melodies will always be remembered by Vietnamese music fans.
Professor Ha Minh Duc was recently awarded the 2012
Ho Chi Minh Prize for a series of books about the literary career of
late President Ho Chi Minh and for his research about the culture and
literature of Viet Nam.
The ceremony to award Ho Chi Minh Prize and People''s
Artist winners will be held at the capital''s Opera House on Saturday to
celebrate the President''s 122nd birthday.
