A photo book on Hue, Viet Nam’s capital from 1802 to 1945 under the Nguyen Dynasty, has just been launched at Foyer Vietnam (House of Viet Nam) in Paris.
The Hue Craft Village Festival, which artisans from localities across
the country attend to display their handicraft skills, opened yesterday
evening in the former feudal capital city of Hue.
The 150-year-old Truong Tien Bridge, which spans over the renowned Huong
(Perfume) River in Hue City, was lit up by fire in an installation by
French artist Carabosse on Friday evening.
Central Thua Thien – Hue province has been ed to host the National Tourism Year – Northern Central Coastal Area 2012. It will host a series of activities throughout the year to promote national tourism and lure international tourists.
