Nguyen Thuan Viet, a fashion designer in Viet Nam, will showcase 30
traditional ao dai in New York City with the help of 15 Vietnamese
models from New York City, New Jersey and Washington on Saturday.
The New York-based Institute for Vietnamese Culture and Education (IVCE)
will screen several documentaries on Viet Nam at universities in the
United States next month.
Vietnamese and US artists will perform the traditional music of Viet Nam
at eight Universities in the Northeastern US on November 14-23,
director of the Institute for Vietnamese Culture and Education (IVCE),
Tran Thang, told Viet Nam News yesterday.
The central city of Da Nang yesterday presented the Certificate of
Merit to director of the Institute for Vietnamese Culture and Education
(IVCE) Tran Thang.
The Viet Nam Culture Festival, held in New York last
week, introduced several facets of the country and its cultural
identity to American and international friends in the lead up to the
Lunar New Year.
