Jean-Pierre Verscheure, a film history professor at
the National Institut of Performing Arts (INSAS) in Belgium, came to Ha
Noi last week to help the Viet Nam National Documentary and Scientific
Film Production Studio (DSF) as it works to preserve old, decomposing
films.
On the evenings from March 23 to 25, the Goethe Institut in Ha Noi will
present the multiple award-winning films of director and screenwriter
Hannes Stohr, including Berlin Is in Germany, One Day in Europe and
Global Player.
The Goethe-Institut will present an exhibition by two Ha Noi artists, Vu
Dan Tan and Nguyen Nghia Cuong, at the HCM City Fine Arts Museum on
January 10.
The Goethe-Institut Ha Noi will host a concert tomorrow featuring the
music of Richard Wagner, Franz Liszt and Richard Strauss. The event will
celebrate the 200th birthday of Richard Wagner.
