A cai luong (renovated theatre) play dedicated to the King-Monk Tran
Nhan Tong – founder of Vietnamese Zen Buddhism – is expected to debut in
the 11th lunar month, December, this year.

King-Monk Tran Nhan Tong, the founder of Viet Nam Zen Buddhism, will be
filmed early next month by the private entertainment group, Viet Nam
Tinh Hoa (Viet Ess).

A grand commemoration of the 705th anniversary of the Nirvana attainment
of King-Monk Tran Nhan Tong, the founder of Vietnamese Zen Buddhism,
will be held at the Yen Tu religious and historical site in Quang Ninh
Province from December 1-3.
The Quang Ninh provincial authorities have said they
will submit a profile of King-Monk Tran Nhan Tong (1258-1308) to UNESCO
for recognition as a Great Man of Culture.
