Composer Phan Huynh Dieu, who was known as the
"Golden bird of Vietnamese music," died on Monday but his influential
melodies will always be remembered by Vietnamese music fans.
Twenty-eight young poets will present their latest
works at the HCM City Literature and Arts Association in District 3
tonight as part of National Poetry Day held on the 15th day of the first
lunar month.
The HCM City Literature and Arts Association is organising a national
contest in eight categories to unearth fresh talents, encourage
interaction among artists and enable the public to enjoy new works.
