HCM City will hold a fireworks display at eight
venues on Lunar New Year''s Eve. High-range firework displays will be set
off at the entrance near the Sai Gon River Tunnel in District 2 and Go
Vap Cultural Park in Go Vap District.
Thien Quang Lake in Ha Noi will turn into a giant floating stage for a
performance on New Year''s Eve featuring famous singers Ho Ngoc Ha, Tuan
Hung, Bui Anh Tuan, Hoang Thuy Linh and Kimmese as well as leading dance
groups.
The ancient city of Hoi An will host the 1.6th million foreign tourist
visiting central Quang Nam Province during a New Year''s Eve party on
December 31.
Ha Noi authorities have decided to stage fireworks
displays at 29 locations around the city to celebrate Tet (Lunar New
Year) which falls in the second week of February.
