Art critics, sculptors and officials from HCM City
and neighbouring areas attending a seminar yesterday said the city
should erect more sculptural works in public areas for landscaping
purpose.
Three skeletons found in the central province of Ha Tinh are estimated
to be about 5,000 years old, said Nguyen Tri Son, director of the
provincial museum.
The English-Vietnamese bilingual guidebook about HCM City, entitled
Saigon Zoom In, is among the publications that have won the America
Graphic Design Awards 2014.
Nguyen Tri wrote his first book at 80 but has hit pay dirt, winning the
annual prize for best book in literary fiction from the Viet Nam
Writers Association.
