The Viet Nam National Symphony Orchestra (VNSC) will
coordinate with the Acecook Vietnam Joint Stock Company to put on two
arts programmes entitled "Happiness Concert", which will be held at the
Ha Noi Opera House on January 13-14.
The HCM City Ballet, Symphony and Orchestra (HBSO) will perform the masterpiece Nutcracker, conducted by Marius Stravinsky, at the Municipal Opera House.
American maestro David Itkin and Vietnamese
violinist Vu Viet Chuong will perform at a concert celebrating 20 years
of diplomatic relations between Viet Nam and the US at the HCM City
Opera House on Thursday.
The Budapest Operetta and Musical Theatre and
Vietnamese violinist Hoang Tuan Cuong will perform a night of classics
at the Ha Noi Opera House on Thursday.
The 10th Autumn Melodies Arts Festival to be held at
the HCM City Opera House later this month will feature more than 100
Vietnamese and nearly 30 international artists.
A concert featuring famous works of 20th century
Russian composers Aram Khachaturian and Sergei Prokofiev will be held by
the HCM City Ballet Symphony Orchestra and Opera (HBSO) on Sunday.
The HCM City Opera House will stage an An Ode to the Motherland on May
19 featuring a rare musical composition by a Vietnamese composer
followed by a hit ballet performance.
