A dramatic series on the life of Vietnamese patriot
Phan Boi Chau will be co-produced by Viet Nam Television (VTV) and the
Tokyo Broadcasting System (TBS) to air next year during the 40th
anniversary of the diplomatic relations between Viet Nam and Japan.
Over 40 paintings and sculptures by two Vietnamese-French female artists are on display in Hue City. The works by To Bich Hai and Diem Phung Thi feature scenes from life and people in unique styles.
The central province of Thua Thien – Hue has
relocated a 10-tonne statue of patriotic scholar Phan Boi Chau (1867 –
1940) in a park by the Huong River in Hue.
