The country''s leading conservationists gathered in
Hue over the weekend to discuss the poetry that is carved on wooden and
concrete heritage buildings in the former royal capital city.
Famous comic actor and theatre director Thai Hoa appears to have further
enhanced his talent in a leading role in the new horror film Qua Tim
Mau (Vengeful Heart).
Nguyen Thai Hoa, an engineer with the Le Havre Company in HCM City, has
won the only prize in the "French, I love" contest co-organized by the
French Embassy in Viet Nam and online newspaper VnExpress, beating 712 competitors.
The Hue Monuments Preservation Centre is currently
gathering decorative verses from royal buildings for which to seek
UNESCO World Documentary Heritage recognition.
