Championship final round, scheduled for next year, after they became the
first runner-up in Group J.
Uong Ngoc Tien of Viet Nam missed a penalty, wasting
a chance for his team to automatically advance to the final round of
the Asian Football Confederation U16 Championship next year.

The national U16 football team lost to U19 Viettel 2-4 in a friendly
match on August 26, in preparation for the 2016 AFC U16 Championship
qualification.
