A TV series on the American war in South Viet Nam began airing on Viet
Nam Television''s VTV1 channel this week, as part of the station''s
screening to mark the 40th anniversary of the country''s Reunification
Day, April 30.
A number of events beginning later this month will
celebrate the 750th anniversary of Thien Truong, the old capital of the
Tran dynasty (1225-1400) in the northern city of Nam Dinh.
