Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung has choosen September
3 as Viet Nam''s annual Music Day, in celebration of an event associated
with the late President Ho Chi Minh.
The Viet Nam Musicians'' Association has released
some 80 newly-written songs about seas and islands, the first volume of
the collection entitled Day Song Bien Dong (Waves Rising in East Sea).
A songbook featuring the piano scores and lyrics of 60 love songs by
composer and pianist Dang Huu Phuc has been released by the Viet Nam
Composers'' Association.
