Vietnamese people should consider tourists their
family, Deputy Minister Vu Duc Dam said at a ceremony held on Wednesday
to mark the 55th anniversary of the tourism sector.
A representative office for Vietnamese tour
operators was established in Japan by the Viet Nam Tourism Association
last week. This is the first representative office that was established
in Japan.
VietJetAir and the Viet Nam Tourism Association
(VTA) have reached an agreement under which the budget carrier will
provide tour operators with favourable airfares and the association will
seek customers for air routes operated by the airline.
