Dozens of international and Vietnamese artists will perform at Viet
Nam''s biggest electronic dance music (EDM) festival Future Now – Rave in
Colour on July 11.
The Ha Noi-based Art Tunnel Gallery and South Korea''s Hansae Yes24
Foundation will jointly organise an exhibition of about 42 lacquer
paintings by 14 Vietnamese artists in Seoul next month.
More than 50 works of 40 international and 17 Filipino artists will be
displayed at Galleria Duemila, Pasay City, in the Philippines on
Saturday, April 5.
Thirty oil paintings by Vietnamese artists, featuring people throughout
the world who supported Viet Nam during its wars and development
process, are on display in downtown Ha Noi.
An exhibition on contemporary art in the capital has attracted
considerable interest from collectors as well as residents and visitors
for contrasting yet complementary "art rationales" displayed by two
young Vietnamese artists.
A hundred Vietnamese artists and 1,000 young people
are expected to join together to perform Khuc Ca Dong Long (The Song of
Solidarity) to celebrate the 82th anniversary next Tuesday of the
founding of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union.
The nation''s struggle to modernise without losing its traditions and
culture is being given visual expression by six outstanding artists in
an exhibition in Hong Kong entitled Viet Nam Now, opening next Friday
and continuing through September 9.
Ten projects of contemporary art and cultural
performances will get financial support from the Danish Vietnamese
Cultural Development and Exchange Fund (CDEF).
