Vietnamese readers, particularly youth, will have more opportunities this summer to learn more about the country’s history after the release of new books.
Vietnamese history, dating from prehistoric times to the modern era, is
being depicted at an exhibition set to open on September 1 at
the Viet Nam National Museum of History.

has been published to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the People''s
Army (December 22, 1944-2014).
A free talk on one of the most dedicated kings in Vietnamese history,
Tran Nhan Tong (1258-1308), will be held at L''Espace in Ha Noi at 2pm on
August 2.
A range of exciting periods in Vietnamese history
are reflected in a new exhibition of antiquities at Nam Dinh Museum,
under the theme of Quintessence of Antiquities in the Red River Delta.
