Vietnamese cueists have set a modest goal of one gold medal in the
billiards&snooker event at the 28th Southeast Asian (SEA) Games in
Singapore starting next month.
The National Billiards and Snooker Championships
kicked off yesterday in My Tho City, Tien Giang Province with the
participation of more than 600 players from 22 teams.
The national billiards and snooker team have convened in Ha Noi and HCM
City to prepare for the upcoming Southeast Asian (SEA) Games in
Singapore in June.

title at the Lucky Square Centre in the southern province of Binh Duong

More than 50 players will compete in the third Binh
Duong International Three-Cushion Carom Billiards Tournament to be held
in southern Binh Duong Province between August 15 and 18, according to
Do Van Trung, head of the organising board.
Viet Nam has ten competitors appearing at the 2013 World Games, held in
Cali City, Colombia from July 25 to August 4, the organising board has
announced.
Viet Nam''s Ma Xuan Cuong failed to progress at the
AGIPI Billiards Masters after finishing third in Group 2 in the first
round of the 3-cushion event in Schiltigheim, France on Sunday.
Top Vietnamese player Ma Xuan Cuong has been
invited to take part in the 2013 AGIPI Billiards Masters preliminary
round on November 23-25 in Strasbourg, France.
