The private film company LBT has introduced its latest film on children
in hopes of drawing young audiences away from Korean and American
productions that have come to dominate cinemas this summer.
A unique collection of contemporary art consisting of photography,
printmaking, drawing, oil and silk painting, ceramic, assemblage, and
sculpture works will be on display at an online exhibition and auction
held together with paddle8.com, a San Art fundraising initiative.
Colonel Pham Thanh Tam''s moving book of 300 paintings, drawings, and
photographs is drawn from his extraordinary experience of having
witnessed and participated in the legendary battle of Dien Bien Phu
which led to the resounding defeat of the French.
The Year 2013, the Japan-Viet Nam Friendship Year, is drawing to a close. Many
events were held successfully, both in Viet Nam and Japan, throughout
the year, giving us an opportunity to deepen our exchanges and know each
other better.
