Phan Thanh Hai, director of Hue Monuments Conservation Centre said
nearly 3,500 international tourists were the first visitors in Hue on
the first day of 2014.
Viet Nam welcomed 587,400 international tourists in March, an increase
of 1.6 per cent compared with the same period last year, with over
30,600 of them from Russia, a year-on-year increase of up to 80.3 per
cent.
HCM City is expected to receive some 275,000
international tourists this month, bringing the total number of foreign
visitors in the first four months of the year to 1.25 million, a
