The Kinh Duong Vuong festival began at the
historical Kinh Duong Vuong-Lac Long Quan-Au Co temple and royal tomb
complex in Thuan Thanh District, northern Bac Ninh Province last
Saturday.
A "getaway" tomb with a lake built by a poetic king
to frolic with his royal concubines is the focus of an art camp being
attended by 15 people in Hue.
Traces of prehistoric man have been found at the Na Mo Cave in the northern province of Bac Kan. Members
of the Viet Nam Archaeological Institute and the Bac Kan Museum have
been excavating the area for possible prehistoric remains since early
June.
