Le Phuong''s cartoon wins the top prize at a year-long newspaper-cartoon
contest. The drawing, which poked fun at people''s ignorance of
corruption, was good enough to take home the VND30million (US$1,400)
reward.
Eighteen-year-old Ly Giam Tien won over two formidable opponents to win the top prize on the TV reality show Project Runway Vietnam aired on Viet Nam Television on Sunday night.
Three Vietnamese piano students scooped up the top prize in three out of
five categories at the Val Tidone International Music Competitions,
which wrapped up in Milan on Monday.
