HA NOI (VNS) — Dong Quoc Tai won the first-ever 400m drag race in Cau Tram Industrial Zone in Long An Province on May 17.

Tai, of HCM City's Binh Tan, took the lead in the professional 125 cc YaZ event, while Vo Phuoc Son of HCM City's Go Vap won the Suzuki Raider 125cc event.

Eighty-eight racers competed in the two-day event organised by the Viet Nam Cycling and Motor Sport Federation and the provincial department of culture, sports and tourism.

The event drew more than 10,000 fans. — VNS
