V-League champions Ha Noi T&T's Samson Kayode officially became Vietnamese after his citizenship application was approved recently.
The Nigerian-born striker's Vietnamese name is Ha Noi Son.
Kayode came to Viet Nam in 2007 and played for Quang Ninh Coal in 2007-08 and Dong Thap for the next two seasons before moving to T&T in 2011.
Son scored 71 goals in the V-League last year, including 43 for T&T. — VNS
