HA NOI (VNS) — The Thanh Chuong Viet Palace and the Temple of Literature are must-visit places in Ha Noi, journalist E Jane Dickson has written in the autumn issue of Ultratravel.

The magazine is The Telegraph's publication on luxury travel.

The Thanh Chuong Viet Palace was built in 2003 in Soc Son district on the outskirts of Ha Noi, by artist Thanh Chuong who wanted to express his love for traditional Vietnamese culture. Since then, it has become a cultural destination, luring local and foreign tourists.

The Temple of Literature, the first university of Viet Nam, was built in the 11th century, dedicated to Confucius and other scholars. It is cited as one of Ha Noi's most picturesque tourist attractions.
