HA NOI (VNS) — Viet Nam's national U-23 football team lost 3-1 to Thailand in a friendly match in Thailand on March 22.

Viet Nam's only goal was made by halfback Nguyen Huu Dung in the 84th minute.

The match against Thailand was a warm-up game before the commencement of the qualifiers of the Asian U-23 Football Championship in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
