The win helped her to take the overall yellow jersey with a combined time of 13:31.16, followed by Nguyen Thuy Dung of Binh Duong Environment, Water and Drainage (13:31.23) and Rhee Chaekyung of South Korea (13:31.39).
The 76km final stage from Vi Thanh City to Long Xuyen City saw the competition sway between leading cyclists That and Dung. Dung appeared to have edged a tight sprint to the finish line, but she was later demoted to second after officials adjudicated that she had pushed her rival during the race for the line, and That was awarded the stage.
Domesco Pharmacy Dong Thap won the team competition with a time of 40:35.56, followed by Binh Duong Environment, Water and Drainage and Vinh Binh Rice Mill. — VNS
