Nguyen Thi That of An Giang Plant Protection 1 overcame other cyclists to win the fifth stage of the Binh Duong international women's tournament yesterday.

She finished the 115km race from Tay Ninh Province's Tay Ninh Town to Binh Phuoc Province's Dong Xoai Town in a time of 3hr 18.36min.

That was followed by Pham Thi Thuy Lien from Domesco Pharmacy Dong Thap and Serene Lee Jer Linh from ADC-Vinh Long Television.

Nguyen Thi Thi from An Giang Plant Protection continued to take overall lead with a total time of 16:51.27. Vo Thi Bich Lam from Dong Thap youth team took the second place with 16:51.33 and Nguyen Thi Thanh from Domesco Pharmacy Dong Thap with 16:51.47.

In the team competition, the top three included Dong Thap youth team taking the lead, followed by Can Tho City and Domesco Pharmacy Dong Thap.

The cyclists will race 80km during the sixth and final stage from Dong Xoai Town to Binh Duong City today.-VNS
