HA NOI (VNS) — Viet Nam's Nguyen Thi That has been invited to take part in a training course in Switzerland.

The course, sponsored by the World Cycling Federation, will last for one month, beginning June 6, at the World Cycling Centre (WCC).

That was the first Vietnamese to win a silver medal at last year's Asian Games. She also finished fourth at the Asian championships.

Before That, Trinh Duc Tam and Huynh Thanh Tung were Vietnamese cyclists who trained at the WCC.

The WCC, based in the central Swiss canton of Aigle, is a high-level coaching and training centre. It is noted for its modern facilities, set in an ideal environment for cycling. — VNS
