HA NOI (VNS)– Actress Thanh Thuy and her partner, singer Duong Trieu Vu won the gold prize at the Just the Two of Us singing contest hosted by Viet Nam Television.

The show is known as Perfect Couples in Viet Nam, and is in its second season here.

After ten live shows, the final round with the participation of three couples was held last Sunday in HCM City where contestants compete in three parts: Fast Music, Slow Music and Timeless Songs.

The team performed The Cup of Life, Neu Chi Con Mot Ngay De Song (If I Have One Day to Live) and Dat Nuoc Loi Ru (The Country's Lullaby) and received praise from the judges for achieving a creative breakthrough.

The contest is produced in the format of the BBC's Just the Two of Us, in which eight celebrities in different fields team up with eight professional singers and sing each night in duets. After each performance they were judged by a panel of industry experts.

Beside singing talent, the teams have to express other skills to win. – VNS
