Bui Minh Thuy took the yellow jersey at the HCM City Television Cycling Tournament which wrapped up in HCM City on Monday.

Thuy, representing ADC-Vinh Long Television, received VND60 million (US$2,880) for his championship title.

Le Van Duan from Sai Gon Plant Protection won the green jersey with a total of 147 points after 15 stages, while Le Ngoc Son from Domesco Pharmacy Dong Thap clinched the "King of Mountains" title.

Nguyen Thanh Tam from An Giang Plant Protection won the white jersey as the best young cyclist.

The Domesco Pharmacy Dong Thap team won the team event with a combined time of 135:43.59.

The 1,800km event attracted 72 cyclists from 11 teams across the country. Run over 15 stages, it is held annually to celebrate the anniversary of National Reunification Day on April 30.-VNS
