Middle-distance runner Truong Thanh Hang has returned to training with the national team at the Da Nang-based Sport Centres 3 after an operation on a broken leg last year.
Hang began with light exercises in February after eight-months on crutches.
"I feel good again after eight months. However, my coaches aren't allowing me to train harder because I've been out for so long. I need more time to get back on track," Hang said.
"I hope to be fully recovered early next year after I have the colts removed from my leg."
Hang, 27, will be missing the Southeast Asian Games in Myanmar later this year, but she has set her sights on making a comeback at the Asian Games in South Korea next year. — VNS
