HA NOI (VNS) — Saketh Myneni is the only player in the top four who survived after the quarter-finals of the Viet Nam Open ATP Tour yesterday in HCM City.
The Indian beat France's Tristan Lamasine 6-1, 2-6, 6-3, and will clash next with qualifier Flavio Cipolla of Italy in the first semi-final match.
Cipolla won 7-6 (4), 7-5 over Daniel Nguyen of the United States.
Another Italian Thomas Fabbiano created a flutter yesterday beating No 1 seed Marcel Granollers in straight sets 6-3, 6-4.
His next rival is No 8 Jordan Thomas who came from behind to beat No 2 James Duckwork of Australian 4-6, 7-6 (5), 3-1.
The Viet Nam Open will conclude tomorrow. — VNS
