Diving and fishing tours in the Son Tra peninsula are currently on offer by the Da Nang Beach Travel Agency for the summer holiday season.

The tours, which debuted three years ago, include snorkelling, fishing and exploring tropical forests.

Tourists can snorkel or dive in the morning around the islands of Sup and Rang where the water is safe, the fish are plentiful, and the coral exotic and colourful.

The island of Bai Den, near the Son Tra lighthouse, is the best place to fish for grouper or red snapper. Tourists can sit safe on rocks to drop their lines and wait for fish taking the bait.-VNS
