HA NOI (VNS)-Viet Nam will take part in five important international track-and-field competitions this year.

The first is the 14th Asian Marathon Championships on February 24 in Hong Kong, while the second is the Asian Walking Championships in Nomi, Japan, on March 10.

The third is the Asian Grand Prix which includes three stages in Bangkok (Thailand) on April 30, in Colombo (Sri Lanka) on May 4 and in Chennai (India) on May 8.

Following this, the next event is the 20th Asian Athletics Championships on July 4-7, also in Chennai.

And the most important one is the 27th Southeast Asian Games in two weeks in December in Myanmar. – VNS
