HA NOI (VNS) — Vu Thi Trang of Viet Nam was stopped at the Chinese Taipei Grand Prix Badminton tournament on Saturday after losing 16-21, 14-21 to Kim Hyo-min from South Korea.
The Grand Prix closed yesterday, as the women's singles title went to Lee Jang-mi, who defeated No 1 Kim 21-1, 21-16 in the final match.
The men's gold was awarded to Indonesian Sony Dwi Kuncoro, who defeated No 5 seed Wang Tzu Wei of the hosts 21-13, 21-15.
Indonesia also took titles in the women's and men's doubles and mixed doubles. — VNS
