Tour operators have kicked off a summer promotion campaign, offering discounts of 30-40 per cent, to attract more business.

The HCM City-based Bien A travel firm offers a discount of VND530,000 on tours from HCM City to Vung Tau. The tour now costs VND950,000.

Ha Noi Redtours offers three tours to the central coast with discounts of up to VND3 million. A Quy Nhon – Binh Dinh, Nha Trang – Phu Yen trip now costs only VND6.7 million compared to 9.7 million earlier, while a Da Nang – Quang Nam tour costs VND5.5 million instead of 7.5 million.

Vietrantour has slashed rates by 40 per cent on 20 domestic tours. Ha Noi – Can Tho – Bac Lieu – Soc Trang – Ca Mau now costs VND6.89 million, Sai Gon-Vung Tau, VND7.29 million, and Sapa – He Kou, VND4.29 million. — VNS
