HA NOI (VNS) — A concert dedicated to legendary Vietnamese composer Trinh Cong Son will be performed in Vinhomes Riverside Eco-Urban Area, Ha Noi, on May 30.
This is the first time Trinh's music has been performed in Ha Noi.
Entitled, "Noi Vong Tay Lon" (The Great Circle of Viet Nam), the concert will feature many renowned Vietnamese singers, including Cam Van, Thanh Lam, My Linh and Tung Duong. It is also a part of the "Hue – Sai Gon – Ha Noi" musical programme, which marks the 14th anniversary of the death of Son.
The show is hosted each year by the composer's family and has been enthusiastically welcomed by the public, attracting up to 30,000 attendees to its 2013 shows. Also in 2013, a record was set when the largest number of people gathered to sing the song, The Great Circle of Viet Nam.
This year's programme is jointly organised by Son's family, Vingroup Joint Stock Company, Thanh Nien Media Group Corporation and Le Bros Limited Company, along with support by Unilever, Pepsico and Vietnam Airlines.
All 3,000 tickets will be available for free at facebook.com/vinhomes.vn, facebook.com/vsn and at Vincom Mega Mall Royal City, Vincom Mega Mall Times City and Vincom Centre on Ba Trieu Street.
Prior to the concert in Ha Noi, a performance will be held at the Crescent Pool in the Phu My Hung Urban Area in HCM City on May 23 and will continue in Hue on June 6. — VNS
