Giang Thanh Tuan performed outstandingly to win the 11th stage of the HCM City Television (HTV) Cup yesterday.

Tuan from the Army team took the lead in the 116km stage from Quy Nhon City to Tuy Hoa City and finished with a time of 2:34.43.

Nguyen Vu Linh of Dong Thap Raflis Trivialis and Tuan's teammate Tran Duy Thai came second and third, respectively.

Tran Thanh Dien from the Sai Gon Plant Protection team took the yellow jersey with the best overall time of 32:05.09, followed by teammate Le Ngoc Thanh and Huynh Thanh Tung of Military Zone 7.

Le Van Duan kept hold of the green jersey as best sprinter with 92 points.

Today, 84 cyclists will compete in the 12th stage from Tuy Hoa City to Nha Trang City. — VNS
