HCM CITY — Two leading Hong Kong film stars, Elisa Sam and Kenneth Ma, will spend three days from September 12 in HCM City to meet with Vietnamese fans and take part in charity activities.
The two stars are under contract with TVB, one of three free-to-air TV broadcasters in Hong Kong and one of the largest commercial Chinese programme producers in the world. The stars will participate in a gala dinner with several Vietnamese artists and handle gifts for disadvantaged children at Thi Nghe Center for Nurturing Impaired Orphans.
Sam and Ma, and two Vietnamese dubbing experts for TVB films, will have an exchange section with more than 100 fans.
Sam (1984) is a Canadian actress under contract in TVB. She won the Miss Chinese Vancouver Pageant in 2009, and went on to win the 2010 Miss Chinese Pageant. She is well known with films titled The Hippocratic Crush II, Sniper Standoff, Inbound Troubles and others.
Known as one of the most attractive single men in Hong Kong, Ma has been considered one of best actors with TVB. He has appeared in Triumph in the Skies, Survivor's Law II, The Hippocratic Crush and other films. — VNS
